Job summary

Teledyne Raymarine seeks a skilled PCB Design Engineer to lead the complete design cycle from schematic through manufacture. You will create schematic symbols, footprints and 3D models in Altium, develop high-speed, high-layer boards and collaborate with Mechanical and Project teams in a fast-paced marine electronics environment.

The role requires HDI PCB expertise, experience with EMC/Vibration testing, and a practical understanding of Design for Manufacture.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Altium Designer 20+ preferred.
• HDI PCB design expertise is required.
• Background in electronics and mechanical engineering helps.
• Experience with Design for Manufacture and liaising with PCB manufacturers.

Responsibilities

• Own PCB design process from schematic receipt to manufacture and assembly.
• Create schematic symbols, PCB footprints and 3D models using Altium.
• Design complex multilayer PCBs including High speed, High Power, RF and Flex.
• Liaise with mechanical designers to ensure smooth interface with SolidWorks.
• Coordinate with PCB manufacturers and assemblers to implement best practices.
• Support the Team Leader and other PCB designers, and collaborate with Project Manager and Test teams.
• Comply with Raymarine policies and complete mandatory training.
