Job summary

Raymarine, a Teledyne FLIR company in Fareham, UK, seeks a Senior PCB Design Engineer to own end-to-end PCB development from schematic to manufacture, using Altium Designer. You will work on high-layer, RF and HDI PCBs, coordinating with mechanical and electrical teams to ensure proper interfaces with SolidWorks.

Responsibilities include design for manufacture, interface with PCB manufacturers, and IPC/compliance testing.

Qualifications

Knowledge of Altium Designer 20+ preferred but not essential.
HDI PCB design expertise.
Background in electronics and mechanical engineering.
Experience in Design for Manufacture and visiting PCB/Assembly Manufacturers.
Experience in EMC, ICT, and vibration testing.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Willing to work in the office at least 4 days a week.
Fluent in English, spoken and written.

Responsibilities

Complete PCB design from schematic through manufacture and assembly.
Create schematic symbols, PCB footprints and 3D models using Altium.
Design multilayer PCBs (High speed, High Power, Impedance Control, RF, Flexi) to IPC standards.
Liaise with mechanical designers to ensure Altium-SolidWorks interface.
Communicate with PCB manufacturers and assemblers for best practices.
Support Team Leader and other PCB designers in duties.
Collaborate with Project Manager, Hardware, Mechanical and Test teams.
Follow Raymarine policies and mandatory training.
