Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking an experienced PCB Designer in Fareham to manage the complete PCB design process from schematic through to manufacture and assembly. You will work with Altium to create symbols, footprints and 3D models, delivering high-density, multi-layer boards for demanding marine electronics applications.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with PCB design from schematic to manufacture.
• Strong knowledge of High-Density Interconnect (HDI) PCB layouts.
• Experience with Design for Manufacture and interaction with PCB/assembly suppliers.
• Excellent communication and teamwork, especially under time pressure.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end PCB design from schematic receipt to manufacturing and assembly.
• Create schematic symbols, footprints and 3D models using Altium.
• Design multi-layer PCBs including High Speed, RF, and Flexi to IPC standards.
• Liaise with mechanical designers to align Altium with SolidWorks.
• Collaborate with PCB manufacturers and assemblers to implement best practices.
• Support Team Leader and other PCB designers; work with Project Manager and Test teams.
