Matchtech are seeking Manufacturing Technicians to join the Optical & Semiconductor Systems team in Oxfordshire to build and test complex optical and electro-mechanical systems. This is a low-volume, high-precision environment where you will work closely with engineers and scientists on cutting-edge semiconductor technology.

At Senior Manufacturing Technician level, you will lead investigations, mentor teammates and drive continuous improvement in quality, reliability and productivity.

Formación

• Precise electro-mechanical assembly and testing.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specs.
• Strong fault finding and root-cause analysis skills.
• Awareness of manufacturing quality systems and best practices.
• High attention to detail in a low-volume, high-complexity environment.

Responsabilidades

• Build, assemble and test complex optical, electro-mechanical and cabling-based assemblies.
• Assemble high-precision systems in line with quality, cost and delivery targets.
• Work from engineering drawings and build instructions.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and support root cause investigations.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to improve processes and efficiency.
• Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness in production and cleanroom areas.
• Support production schedules with high-quality, first-time-right assembly.
• Ensure kits and components are available and correctly configured.
