Refeyn Ltd in Oxford is hiring a Manufacturing Technician to assemble, test, repair and refurbish cutting-edge instrumentation that integrates lasers, electro-optic systems, 3D positioners and high-spec video cameras.

You will work with electronic sub-systems, optical alignment and documented test routines, while contributing to lean manufacturing and data management across the full build cycle.

Formación

• University degree in relevant discipline or relevant industry experience.
• Approx. 3 years of relevant industrial operations experience.
• Experience with PPE and handling lasers and optics.
• Experience assembling electronic subsystems and fault finding.
• Experience with optical alignment using laser systems and laser safety training.
• Experience testing high-precision scientific instrumentation.

Responsabilidades

• Assemble and test Mass Photometer instruments and electronic sub-systems.
• Assemble and align optical components.
• Perform Final Acceptance Testing (FAT) and follow documented test routines.
• Produce equipment to detailed Work Instructions and test protocols.
• Contribute to lean manufacturing initiatives and improve processes.
• Assist with BOM, procurement, stock control and data documentation.
