Job summary

慰正橡扯 is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for a 12-month fixed-term contract in Glenrothes, Scotland (Glenrothes or Livingston). The role requires a strong background in manufacturing engineering, electronics manufacturing processes, and a data-driven approach to continuous improvement.

You will drive best-in-class manufacturing practices, lead root-cause analysis, participate in NPI and DFM activities, and contribute to KPI tracking within a hybrid working model for a 37-hour week.

Qualifications

• HND in Manufacturing / Production Engineering or related subject.
• High performance engineer and self-starter.
• Strong knowledge of electronics manufacturing across technologies and platforms.
• Analytical engineer who can process data and communicate outcomes.
• Good team player who takes ownership and participates in team activities.
• Contribution to improvements in production programs’ effectiveness and optimisation.
• Understand and promote SPC to identify potential issues and prevent them.
• Lead / participate in FMEA development, review and risk mitigation.
• Experience with various manufacturing platforms.
• Understands Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Proven technical presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive improvement through Best in Class and World Class Manufacturing principles.
• Active Team Member – participate with Integrated Program Team and other project teams.
• Use manufacturing data to identify issues and address them.
• Methodical approach to drive systemic root cause and corrective action.
• Identify training needs to improve team performance.
• Report & maintain manufacturing metrics; track KPIs and goals.
• Support Program Cells and the engineering community.
• Participate in DFM and manufacturability analyses and reporting.
• Participate in NPI activities and reporting.
