Prattwhitney in Livingston, UK, seeks a Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer to design and implement robust electronics manufacturing processes on‑site, with occasional travel to Glenrothes. You will own processes and equipment across the product value stream, working with design teams on DfX and driving improvements.

The role requires experience in high‑reliability electronic assembly and strong knowledge of SPC/OEE/ESD, Six Sigma/Lean, and ERP/MES systems.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of electronics manufacturing across a range of technologies and platforms.
• Experience in high‑reliability electronic assembly environments (defence, medical, aerospace).
• Contributions to improvements in production effectiveness and efficiency.
• FMEA, control plans, process flow, risk mitigation experience.
• Experience with SPC, OEE, ESD, COSHH and risk assessment.
• Understanding of Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles.
• Familiar with IPC‑A‑610 guidelines and ERP/MES systems.
• Minimum HNC in electronics; HND/degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement robust, repeatable manufacturing processes.
• Own and manage process and equipment across the Product Value Stream.
• Collaborate with design teams on Design for Excellence (DfX).
• Identify, escalate and address quality or performance issues.
• Achieve on‑time delivery targets.
• Use data analysis to drive root‑cause/corrective actions and metrics.
• Track performance and yields against KPIs and goals.
• Drive continuous improvements via Best in Class and World Class Manufacturing.
