Sr. Manager of Client Strategy

TDS is looking to complement this team with a Sr. Manager of Client Strategy as described below.

About The Role: As a TDS Sr. Manager of Client Strategy for EMEA, this individual should be able to display strong internal initiative, pay great attention to detail, balance a fast paced work environment, think strategically and have the ability to communicate effectively with clients. This individual will be responsible for owning and leading the global strategy for major TDS clients. In addition to Client Management, this individual will be responsible for Program Management covering all aspects necessary to effectively drive the account. Both are outlined further below.

What You’ll Do:
  1. Client Management:
  2. Be the main point of contact for a subset of TDS Clients
  3. Develop a deep and trusting relationship with key executives within each client’s organisation
  4. Develop and influence strategies advantageous to both the client and TDS
  5. Cross-sell additional TDS services
  6. Coordinate efforts globally within TDS and across the client’s internal global stakeholders
  7. Host bi-weekly update meetings and regular business reviews with each client (attend in-person as needed)
  8. Drive collaboration with both client and internal stakeholders on developing an overall budget for the client and determining retail rollout/expansion strategy
  9. Negotiate distribution and expansion opportunities with retailers/distributors
  10. Own presentation materials to effectively represent the client and conduct retailer presentations
  11. Develop a strong understanding of all TDS client objectives, including their retail strategy
  12. Conduct ongoing analysis and strategy recommendations, including Quarterly Business Reviews and Annual Planning Sessions
  13. Communicate regularly with internal TDS stakeholders as needed to maintain alignment.

Program Management:

  1. Identify, negotiate and confirm retail channel marketing
  2. Conduct ongoing marketing ROI analysis and provide high-level feedback to the client
  3. Manage, traffic and track formal approvals from clients or all required elements
  4. Oversee all milestones are achieved by all marketing stakeholders during the process (retailers, activation service providers, TDS internal teams,
  5. Monitor in-store execution and capture photos as needed
  6. Analyze client sales using TDS tools in order to recognize trends and provide recommendations as needed for various distribution channels
  7. Independently manage your task list and complete those tasks based on priority and deadlines
  8. Maintain FLAWLESS attention to detail within all TDS program and client management tools
Qualifications:
  • 5 or more years experience in gift cards, retail buying, or account management
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively with all levels of the organization and clients
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Second language a bonus (preferably German, French, Italian, Spanish)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  • Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and conferences
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Docs, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
