Strategic purpose of the position:

This position is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of Indirect Tax planning and compliance improvement initiatives.

Job responsibilities

• Working in partnership with cross functional business teams for development and implementation of key strategic business changes, supply chains and re-organisations.
• Working with external and internal indirect tax compliance teams to ensure robust and complete compliance infrastructure and data quality.
• Supporting indirect tax process re-engineering and improvement as well as assistance in building a robust control environment.
• Support Tax Authority Indirect Tax Inquiries and Audits in the European region
• Collaboration with corporate and regional tax on international projects.
• Experienced and energetic finance professional with a passion to make a difference.
• He/She should be a true team player with very good communication and people skills.
• Demonstrates an ability to develop relationships across an enterprise in a heavily matrixed environment.
• Demonstrates thought leadership ability to communicate complicated tax matters across all levels of the organization in a value driven manner.
• Relevant professional tax and/or accounting qualification.
• Fluent in English. Chinese is advantageous but not a requirement.

Educational / minimum requirements:

• At least 5 years of indirect tax experience, big 4 experience is plus.
