Job summary

Davies is seeking an experienced Major & Complex Loss Adjuster to join our Claims Management team in a home-based role across the United Kingdom. The candidate will manage High Net Worth and other complex claims, including oil-related losses, in a high-standard, client-facing capacity.

The role requires extensive experience in major losses, proven property claims capability and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 10 years plus experience within an adjusting company or insurer, including major losses.
• Proven track record of property claims.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced and changing environment.
• Dependability and persistence are essential.
• Flexible approach and adaptable to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Handle adjustment of High Net Worth, Major Loss and other complex claims including escape of oil.
• Busy role with a broad range of responsibilities; manage cases to agenda.
• Work claims in line with company requirements and demanding service standards of MCL clients.
• Ensure KPIs are reached and maintained and actively progress and control all cases.
• Understand and implement company and client procedures; maintain high-quality reports.
• Build relationships with clients, brokers and policyholders.

What will your day look like:

• Joining Davies as our latest Major & Complex Loss Adjuster means that you'll be carrying out the adjustment of High Net Worth, Major Loss and other complex claims including escape of oil.
• It’s a busy role, with a broad range of responsibilities, but the fundamentals include:
• To handle claims in line with company requirements and particularly the demanding service standards of MCL clients
• To ensure key performance indicator targets are reached and maintained
• To actively progress and control all cases
• Understand and effectively implement Company and individual client procedures
• Ensure technical accuracy of the highest standard and produce reports of highest quality
• Build effective relationships with clients, brokers and policy holders

Knowledge and Abilities:

Training will be provided which will be specific and pertinent to the role but will require knowledge, understanding and capability in the following areas:
