Davies Group is recruiting a Senior Manager for Major & Complex Loss (MCL), based home-based to cover South East UK and Home Counties. You will lead complex property claims, including High Net Worth and major losses, while maintaining exceptional client service and technical excellence.

You’ll drive case progression, oversee reporting, and build strong client relationships with brokers and policyholders, shaping Davies Group’s MCL offering.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in loss adjusting with High Net Worth and major losses.
• Progress towards ACILA, FCILA, or equivalent professional qualifications.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Calm, dependable under pressure with a flexible mindset.

Senior Manager - Major & Complex Loss (MCL)

About the Role

As a Senior Manager within our Major & Complex Loss (MCL) team, you'll be at the forefront of handling some of the most challenging and high-value property claims in the industry. From High Net Worth portfolios to major domestic and commercial losses-including subsidence and escape of oil-you'll bring expertise, leadership, and exceptional client service to every case.

This is a role for someone who thrives on complexity, enjoys autonomy, and takes pride in delivering outstanding technical and customer outcomes. You'll be a trusted representative of Davies, working closely with prestigious clients, brokers, and policyholders while helping shape the future of our MCL offering.

What will your day look like:

What You'll Be Doing

• Managing a diverse portfolio of High Net Worth, Major Loss, and complex property claims with precision and professionalism
• Meeting and exceeding the demanding service standards of our MCL clients
• Driving progress on all cases, ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality outcomes
• Applying and championing company systems, processes, and best practices
• Tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs of individual clients
• Producing clear, insightful, and technically robust reports and correspondence
• Building strong, trusted relationships with clients, brokers, and stakeholders
• Communicating proactively with all parties to keep cases moving smoothly
• Working collaboratively within a high-performing team to deliver exceptional results
• Supporting business development by strengthening existing relationships and identifying new opportunities
• Leveraging the wider Davies Group to enhance the policyholder experience
• Participating in a 1-in-3 on-call rota for out-of-hours support for a key client

Knowledge and Abilities

• Proven experience in a similar loss adjusting role, ideally with exposure to High Net Worth and major losses
• Progress toward (or completion of) ACILA, FCILA, or equivalent professional qualifications
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
• A calm, dependable, and persistent approach-especially under pressure
• A flexible mindset and the ability to adapt to shifting priorities
• A track record of delivering high-quality technical work in a fast-paced environment
• A full, clean driving licence
