Job summary

Korn Ferry is seeking a hands-on Senior Manager/Financial Reporting Lead to join our finance team in Leeds. You will own IFRS technical accounting, oversee the preparation of annual and interim financial statements, and manage audit activities with external auditors in a tight year‑end timetable.

The ideal candidate is a qualified ACA/ACCA with substantial post‑qualification experience in financial services, a strong track record of complex reporting, robust judgment, and excellent stakeholder

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with significant post‑qualification experience.
• Excellent IFRS technical knowledge with experience applying standards to complex transactions.
• Experience managing external audits and engaging with senior stakeholders.
• Strong delivery management and ability to meet deadlines in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end Annual Report and Accounts plan with milestones and risks.
• Coordinate preparation of interim and year-end financial statements and notes.
• Review financial statements, notes and disclosures for accuracy and compliance.
• Provide IFRS accounting advice and challenge significant judgements.
• Review technical accounting papers ensuring robust conclusions.
• Manage day-to-day engagement with external auditors and issue resolutions.
• Coordinate inputs across Finance to align financial and narrative reporting.
• Identify improvements to efficiency, quality and control of year-end reporting.
• Support knowledge transfer across the finance team.
