Korn Ferry in Leeds is seeking a Senior Manager, Financial Controller to provide senior-level technical accounting leadership for the preparation, review, and audit of the 2026/27 Annual Report and Accounts.

This hands-on role requires deep IFRS expertise, statutory reporting and effective management of external auditors, to deliver a high-quality set of disclosures on an accelerated year-end timetable. 3 days per week in Leeds; day rate £600 Inside IR35.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent).
• Excellent IFRS knowledge with complex judgements.
• Strong statutory and financial reporting experience, including audits.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Annual Report and Accounts plan with milestones and risks.
• Coordinate interim and year-end financial statements and notes to audit standard.
• Review statements and disclosures for accuracy and compliance.
• Provide IFRS technical accounting advice on significant judgements.
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit evidence and issues.
• Ensure alignment of financial and narrative reporting across the organization.
• Identify improvements to year-end reporting efficiency and control.
• Support knowledge transfer within the finance team.
