Job summary

The National Wealth Fund seeks a Senior Manager, Accounting Advisory to lead the organisation's technical accounting function, provide strategic IFRS and reporting guidance, and support key investment transactions. Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant with post-qualification experience in technical accounting and IFRS advisory.
• Experience interpreting complex standards for bespoke financial transactions.
• Strong governance and reporting framework knowledge (IFRS, Companies Act, ONS).

Responsibilities

• Act as lead technical accounting adviser to senior management and deal teams.
• Develop and maintain the technical accounting framework and disclosures.
• Oversee accounting papers, policies and governance submissions for the Audit and Risk Committee.
• Lead adoption of new accounting standards and evolving reporting requirements.
• Coordinate with NAO during the annual audit cycle and manage external audit relationships.
• Coach and develop finance staff within the team.
