Job summary

Crawford & Company in the United Kingdom is seeking a claims professional within the CFAS division to assess business interruption and other financial losses on behalf of clients. You will negotiate and settle claims, and work as part of the wider GTS team.

You will travel for site visits and external meetings, market yourself and the business, and build strong relationships with insurers, reinsurers, claimants, and insureds.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assess business interruption and financial losses for clients.
• Negotiate settlements of claims.
• Travel for site visits and external meetings as required.
• Develop relationships with insurers, reinsurers, claimants, and insureds.
• Prepare interim and final reports and communicate findings.
• Support development of less experienced staff.
• Identify opportunities for new business with clients.
• Maintain up-to-date case files and records.
