Abacus is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead Accounting Services in Bermuda, working hands-on with clients and developing teams. You will oversee a portfolio of engagements, guide the team, and drive smarter processes, technology, and automation.

You will manage client engagements, budgets, and profitability while coaching accounting professionals. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, with experience in AI-enabled finance tools a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Professionally qualified accountant in good standing with CPA Bermuda or a similar professional body.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in public accounting, outsourced accounting, or a similar professional-services environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and Bermuda payroll legislation.
• Experience managing teams, client engagements, and operational improvements.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks Online and accounting workflow platforms such as Karbon.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with AI-enabled finance tools or healthcare clients is an advantage.

• Monitor team utilization, deadlines, and workflow.
• Allocate resources effectively to meet client commitments.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity and engagement profitability.
