Zusammenfassung

PartnerRe requires a Senior Accountant for the Bermuda Finance team to prepare U.S. GAAP financial statements and Audit Committee reporting.

This role will involve developing technical memos, accounting policies, and liaising with global teams to ensure accurate financial reporting. The successful candidate will have 3–5 years in financial reporting within (re)insurance or Big 4, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and WDesk.

Qualifikationen

• Experience with U.S. GAAP reporting for (re)insurance is preferred.
• Strong financial reporting and documentation skills are required.
• Experience liaising with external auditors is a plus.
• Ability to coordinate across global teams and manage close calendars.

Aufgaben

• Prepare U.S. GAAP financial statements for quarterly and annual reporting.
• Prepare Audit Committee presentations and related documentation.
• Draft technical accounting memos and accounting policies for significant transactions.
• Coordinate with internal teams globally (finance, planning, tax, legal).
• Provide documentation to internal and external auditors; support close processes.
• Stay updated with accounting standards and disclosure requirements.
• Assist with ad-hoc external reporting and surveys as needed.
