Senior Management Accountant
Coventry
Up to GBP52,000
Monday to Friday Hybrid

We are looking for an experienced Senior Management Accountant to join a small finance team in Coventry. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved with continually improving processes and systems. You will be responsible for managing the company’s financial performance, delivering accurate financial reports, and offering analysis to support strategic business decisions.

Daily duties will include:

1. Monthly management accounts and financial reports including profit and loss statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and cash flow analysis.
2. Conduct detailed variance analysis between actual results and budgeted figures.
3. Assist in the development of quarterly and annual budgets, forecasts, and business plans, while monitoring performance and recommending corrective actions as needed.
4. Support Senior Management in the creation of financial models.
5. Review and enhance financial processes and systems to drive greater efficiency and accuracy.
6. Provide support during internal and external audit processes.

Experience required:

1. ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified (QBE or part–qual will be considered for the right candidate).
2. Previous experience within an SME environment.
3. Capable of thriving in a dynamic, fast–paced environment with a problem–solving attitude.
4. Experienced with Finance Business Partnering.
