Position: Senior Management Accountant

Location: Manchester City Centre

Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 – Full suite of benefits, flexible working, development pathway

Platinum is exclusively retained by this market-leading group based in City Centre to source a Senior Management Accountant with the skills, technical ability, and ambition to develop into a Senior Leadership Team (SLT) position within the next 12-18 months.

The successful candidate will join an international SaaS business that is rapidly expanding and seeks individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and wish to be part of a growing group.

We are looking for qualified and experienced Senior Management Accountants who can quickly gain comprehensive knowledge of the group accounts and structure. The role involves managing a complex structure with 5 entities, numerous intercompany transactions, UK and European territories, and a need to produce multiple sets of accounts to tight month-end deadlines independently.

You will report directly to the Group Finance Controller (ACA), who has high expectations but also offers support and mentorship. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the management accounts production for all entities, overseeing 2 Assistant Management Accountants (AMAs).
• Finalizing commentary and variance analysis.
• Managing and developing the AMAs through mentoring and training.
• Participating in budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Developing reporting procedures, including enhancing reporting with PowerBi.
• Managing internal and external stakeholder relationships.

Career progression timings depend on individual performance. If you fully integrate, understand the account complexities, and demonstrate readiness, there is potential to join the SLT within 12 months.
