Are you an experienced Senior Management Accountant looking for a chance to take on greater responsibility and for future progression to manage a small team?

Nationwide Platforms is seeking a Senior Management Accountant to join our Finance team at Head Office in Lutterworth.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to join a successful and growing business. Nationwide Platforms is the UK market leader in powered access rental and working at height training.

The working hours are 08:30 - 17:00, Monday to Friday, with flexible hybrid working options.

Reporting to our UK Senior Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include:

1. Timely and accurate production of monthly management accounts.
2. Maintenance of accounting processes and procedures.
3. Providing financial modelling and analysis as required.
4. Producing analysis for VAT reporting.
5. Cash flow management and forecasting.
6. Fixed asset maintenance and reporting.
7. Supporting payroll review and sign-off.
8. Implementing and improving internal controls.
9. Acting as a liaison for audits.
10. Supporting the finance team’s management and development.
11. Deputising for the UK Senior Finance Manager as needed.
12. Performing ad hoc duties as required.

About you:

1. Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
2. Proven experience as a Senior Management Accountant or similar role in a fast-paced environment.
3. High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
4. Strong analytical skills to identify and solve problems.
5. High energy and commitment.
6. Ability to meet tight deadlines.
7. Flexible and adaptable to change.
8. Excellent MS Excel skills and computer literacy.
9. Solid understanding of financial software principles.
