The role involves equipment checks, patient care, QA, and adhering to NHSBSP standards, with opportunities to develop in contrast enhanced procedures and work within a supportive team at Glenfield Hospital.

Formación

• Essential radiography degree and HCPC registration.
• NHS Breast Screening Programme competency/certification.
• CPD evidence.
• Desirable: IV injections competency; Society of Radiographers membership.

Responsabilidades

• Work with Radiologists and radiographers to deliver breast imaging services.
• Maintain NHSBSP Quality Assurance guidelines.
• Prepare mammographic equipment and ensure safety.
• Interview and support women through the mammographic process.
• Contribute to service development and quality improvement.
