Job summary

You will prepare equipment, interview patients with empathy, and support them through the imaging process while maintaining quality standards and contributing to service improvements.

Qualifications

• Mammography knowledge
• Radiography skills
• Awareness of NHS Breast Screening Programme guidelines

Responsibilities

• Prepare mammographic equipment prior to use and verify proper function
• Interviews and supports women through the mammographic process
• Contribute to the development and implementation of changes in clinical practice
• Maintain high standards of image quality and NHSBSP compliance
• Work within the Breast Imaging team and collaborate with Radiologists and radiographers
