Job summary

Trinity Claims, supporting Policy Expert, seeks a highly organized, empathetic individual to assist the Major Loss team with major and complex home insurance claims. You will translate policy terms into actionable steps and coordinate across buildings, contents and accommodation elements, liaising with contractors, experts and internal suppliers to keep claims progressing smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience in household property insurance claims is essential.
• Familiarity with insurance and indemnity policy terms.
• Strong questioning, decision-making and analytical abilities.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Good numeracy and written English with confidentiality.
• Proficient in MS Office and administrative tasks.
• Qualifications in Maths/English (A-levels) or compatible numeracy/written English.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers through the claims journey with empathy and care.
• Collect information from customers and the Major Loss team for swift resolution.
• Coordinate buildings, contents and alternative accommodation elements.
• Maintain transparent, accurate claim files.
• Respond to queries via phone, portal or email professionally.
• Assess emergency accommodation needs and arrange settlement funds.
• Process emergency and supplier payments with approvals; keep records accurate.
