Job summary

World Vision UK is seeking an experienced Senior Philanthropy Manager to lead a major donors portfolio and grow transformational giving. You will own donor strategies, engage senior leaders and trustees, and drive multi-year commitments of £25,000+ while maintaining a robust pipeline.

You will deliver strong income growth, manage CRM records, and work with the wider Relationship Fundraising team to maximise donor impact within a Christian framework.

Qualifications

• A strong track record of cultivating, soliciting and stewarding major donors.
• Evidence of achieving income targets and pipeline growth.
• Ability to build trusted relationships and influence senior stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for donor propositions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver income growth: target £200k in year 1, £750k by year 3.
• Secure high-value commitments of £25,000+ and multi-year gifts.
• Identify new high-net-worth donors and move relationships through cultivation.
• Maintain 12 donor meetings per month including new prospects.
• Improve engagement plans to increase conversion and repeat giving.
