Job summary

Diageo is seeking a Senior Craft for Alloa, Scotland. This fixed-term 12-month role provides proactive supervisory support for site maintenance, driving safety, quality and compliance with safe systems of work.

You will work with planners, leaders and craft teams to optimise maintenance and continuous improvement, ensuring robust asset care and reliability. The role requires time-served electrical or mechanical trade qualifications with an HNC and at least five years of engineering experience,

Qualifications

• Time-served electrical or mechanical trade qualification and a minimum HNC in a relevant discipline.
• Five years' engineering experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of plant operations and maintenance systems (SAP/MRP).
• Experience in coaching, developing and supporting a multi-skilled team.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive supervisory support for site maintenance activities.
• Support contractor management, including issuing permits to work and RAMS reviews.
• Ensure compliance with Diageo standards, health and safety requirements, COMAH and PUWER, and LOTO procedures.
• Support MRTLs with technical issues, RCPS and maintenance planning.
• Identify and elevate risks to weekly maintenance plans and source parts and manufacturer support.
• Review preventative maintenance schedules to improve effectiveness and prevent failures.
• Coach operators in equipment care and routine maintenance to improve reliability.
• Lead or support equipment maintenance and reliability improvement initiatives and participate in reviews.
• Support capital investment projects and safe changes to equipment and processes.
