Job summary

Diageo is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a 12-month fixed-term role in Menstrie, Scotland. The role focuses on routine electrical maintenance, safety compliance and supporting plant reliability across a rotating 3-shift pattern.

You will work with Operations, Maintenance Planners and Craft teams to minimize downtime, diagnose faults, and ensure parts availability. The role requires a hands-on engineer with HNC and SAP/office skills.

Qualifications

• HNC in Engineering or equivalent with hands-on maintenance experience.
• Experience in routine maintenance and repair in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to drive improvements and analyse data to improve reliability.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance tasks adhering to safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate with Operations and Craft teams for planned and reactive maintenance.
• Diagnose electrical faults, perform repairs and investigate root causes.
• Record activities in the MMS system and share procedures with team.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability.
