Job summary

Diageo plc in Menstrie, Scotland, is seeking an Electrical Engineer on a fixed-term contract of 12 months. You’ll perform routine maintenance, diagnose faults, carry out repairs and support continuous improvements across site equipment.

The role requires an HNC in Engineering or equivalent and hands-on maintenance experience, with SAP knowledge, strong problem-solving and the ability to work flexibly on a 3-shift pattern including nights. A full UK driving licence is preferred.

Qualifications

• HNC in Engineering or equivalent experience with hands-on maintenance background.
• Ability to work with operating procedures and report hazards and risks.
• Experience using SAP for maintenance management and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance tasks and repairs on site equipment.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality standards.
• Collaborate with Operations and Craft teams to deliver planned maintenance.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns, diagnose faults and investigate root causes.
• Record maintenance activities in SAP MMS and share procedures.
• Lead site Tier meetings and contribute to performance evaluations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and equipment reliability.
