Job summary

Barry, South Wales-based manufacturer seeks an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to drive asset performance, reliability and continuous improvement across a complex production environment.

You will lead a skilled maintenance team and collaborate with operations and engineering to optimise maintenance strategies, enhance safety, and support capital projects. Prior leadership in maintenance, reliability, and contractor management is essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in maintenance and reliability within manufacturing.
• Practical knowledge of FMEA, RCM, conditioning monitoring, and CMMS.
• Experience with inspection, overhaul and repair of rotating and static equipment in hazardous processes.
• Knowledge of welding, NDT, instrumentation and electrical testing and calibration.
• Familiar with SHE regulations for pressure systems, PUWER, LOLER, DSEAR, COSHH, confined space risk assessments and permits.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performance maintenance team of technicians and contractors.
• Support capital projects to sustain and improve site condition and performance.
• Collaborate with operations and engineering to improve reliability and OEE.
• Drive RCA, FMEA/RCM studies, and PM/PdM optimization to improve MTBF and MTTR.
• Support routine maintenance planning and major turnaround activities.
• Support continuous improvement in maintenance and contractor work execution.
