Job summary

Masters of Malt seeks a Maintenance Supervisor Electrical to lead the electrical engineering function at our UK site. You will drive safety, reliability and continuous improvement across electrical, instrumentation and automation systems, coordinating with maintenance, production and engineering teams.

You will develop asset strategies, oversee preventive and reactive maintenance, and ensure accurate Maximo records while supporting CAPEX/OPEX projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar by experience.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior technical role within electrical engineering, process control, automation, or industrial manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of process operations, electrical systems, instrumentation, and automation.
• Experience with CMMS/Engineering Management Systems, preferably Maximo.
• Understanding of asset management, reliability engineering, and maintenance best practices.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001/14001/45001/50001, FSSC or similar systems.
• Experience managing maintenance budgets, projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a structured approach to performance improvement.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, CMMS, ERP, and OEE reporting.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.
• Ability to lead by example and foster safety, accountability, and excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the electrical team, promoting a safe, collaborative and high‑performance culture.
• Provide technical expertise across electrical, instrumentation, control and automation systems.
• Oversee installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and continuous improvement of electrical and process control systems.
• Plan and coordinate preventive and reactive maintenance to maximize plant reliability and uptime.
• Develop maintenance and asset replacement strategies to optimize performance and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, quality and electrical standards.
• Support CAPEX and OPEX projects from planning to delivery.
• Maintain accurate asset and maintenance records within Maximo.
• Identify opportunities for automation, operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Monitor performance, report on key metrics and support data‑driven decision‑making.
• Develop team capabilities through training, coaching and succession planning.
