Job summary

Ragdale Hall Spa in Melton Mowbray is recruiting a Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance function across the estate, ensuring facilities, plant, equipment and estate meet the highest standards.

Reporting to the Property & Projects Manager, you will manage a twelve-strong team, oversee planned and reactive maintenance, and drive energy efficiency while delivering safe, efficient service with minimal disruption to guests.

Qualifications

• Proven maintenance or facilities management leadership experience.
• Strong technical knowledge across building services and maintenance operations.
• Experience managing contractors, projects and compliance requirements.
• CAFMs experience and knowledge of planned & preventive maintenance (PPM).

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a maintenance team of twelve.
• Manage planned and reactive maintenance activities.
• Oversee site compliance, including fire, water and electrical safety.
• Manage contractors, service agreements and refurbishment projects.
• Control departmental budgets and purchasing activities.
• Drive energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.
• Ensure maintenance work is delivered safely, efficiently and with minimal disruption to guests and colleagues.
• Work closely with department heads and senior managers to support operational needs.
