Job summary

TipTopJob seeks a Senior Maintenance Engineer to oversee breakdowns, installations, and improvements across electrical, mechanical, and automation systems in a manufacturing setting. The role is day-shift, Monday to Friday, with ownership of maintenance activities, fault finding, and reactive and planned maintenance to keep production running safely and efficiently.

Ideal candidates have NVQ3/City & Guilds, PLC exposure, and a proactive, collaborative approach in an industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified engineer with an electrical or mechanical maintenance background.
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Good fault-finding ability and practical maintenance skills.

Responsibilities

• Fault finding and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance.
• Maintaining motors, drives, control panels, and machinery.
• Working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Isolating and reinstating electrical equipment safely.
• Supporting continuous improvement activities.
