Job summary

CV Technical is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for a well-established manufacturing operation in Liverpool, supporting a highly automated environment. You will maintain, troubleshoot and repair a range of automated production equipment, including bag filling lines, robotics and conveyors.

The ideal candidate has NVQ Level 3, strong electrical and mechanical maintenance experience, and proven fault finding on automated machinery.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 minimum in an appropriate engineering discipline.
• Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance experience.
• Proven fault finding on automated machinery.
• Experience with PLCs and SCADA systems.
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Knowledge of conveyors, gearboxes, belts and chains.
• Experience with single and three-phase electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair automation equipment to minimise downtime.
• Hit the ground running and diagnose faults efficiently.
• Work across powdered bag filling lines, robotics, conveyors, wrapping systems and SCADA.
