Job description

Due to continued growth, a leading European manufacturer of automotive parts is actively seeking a Senior Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team.

With over 20 sites in Europe, the organisation holds a firm position within their industry, taking a professional approach throughout the business.

Your role will be to lead the maintenance team towards full TPM, ensuring continuous and safe running to reduce incidents and breakdowns.

Responsibilities include:

1. Leading in-house electrical installations and major technical maintenance operations such as toggle replacements, pump repairs, and hydraulic seals replacements.
2. Taking responsibility for the technical side of in-house continuous improvement projects.
3. Enforcing a preventative mindset rather than corrective.
4. Managing all aspects of 5S around maintenance.

Candidate Requirements:

1. Experience at a similar level in an injection moulding environment.
2. Multi-skilled with a strong knowledge of injection moulding machines, ancillary equipment, and automation.
3. Electrical qualifications.
4. Ability to read and understand technical drawings (electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical).
5. Ability to work well within teams as well as taking a lead.
