Rheinmetall UK is seeking a Senior Maintenance & Compliance Operative to lead on-site maintenance, safety, and regulatory compliance at our Newport site. You will manage planned and reactive maintenance and support ISO 45001/14001 systems to keep facilities safe and productive.

In this role you’ll diagnose faults, coordinate refurbishments, monitor compliance deadlines, assist audits, and coordinate contractors. A proactive, hands-on approach and strong organisational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintaining and managing facilities and compliance.
• Ability to lead on-site maintenance and improvements.
• Knowledge of health & safety legislation and risk assessment techniques.
• Experience supporting ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planned preventive maintenance and reactive repairs.
• Ensure statutory compliance across building systems and equipment.
