Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Senior Mainframe Automation Engineer to join our global team. You will design, implement, and support enterprise automation across IBM z/OS, focusing on reducing manual intervention and improving reliability.

The role requires deep expertise in Mainframe Automation technologies (Broadcom OPS/MVS, SA z/OS, NetView) and strong REXX scripting. You will collaborate with distributed teams and influence automation strategies across regions.

Qualifications

Typically 8 to 15+ years of experience in IBM Mainframe environments.
Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in Mainframe Automation and Monitoring solutions.
Strong experience with automation products such as Broadcom OPS/MVS, IBM System Automation (SA z/OS), and/or NetView.

Responsibilities

Administer, maintain, and support enterprise Mainframe Automation solutions.
Design, develop, and implement monitoring and automation processes across IBM z/OS environments.
Create, modify, test, and deploy automation rules, policies, and event management solutions.
Collaborate with infrastructure teams to enhance operational efficiency through intelligent automation.
Provide production support, incident resolution, and technical leadership for automation-related initiatives.
