Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking an IBM z/OS Integration Consultant to design, implement, and support secure enterprise integrations across mainframe and distributed systems. Qualifications

• Strong experience developing or supporting applications on IBM z/OS.
• Good understanding of CICS, DB2 and COBOL.
• Hands‑on experience with IBM MQ messaging.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, enterprise integration principles, and API integration frameworks such as z/OS Connect EE.
• Understanding of synchronous and asynchronous integration patterns.
• Experience implementing secure and resilient integrations between distributed and mainframe applications.
• Experience with source management and service management tools such as Endevor, Jira, and ServiceNow (SNOW).
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support enterprise integration solutions across IBM z/OS environments.
• Configure, maintain, and optimize integration middleware supporting business‑critical services.
• Deliver secure, scalable, and resilient integration solutions that meet functional and non‑functional requirements.
• Collaborate with application teams, architects, and infrastructure teams to define integration designs and technical solutions.
• Implement and support API‑based integrations between distributed systems and mainframe applications.
• Investigate and resolve complex production incidents and integration issues.
• Analyse application flows and troubleshoot end‑to‑end integration challenges.
• Produce technical documentation, solution designs, and operational support procedures.
• Support modernization initiatives and continuous improvement of enterprise integration platforms and engineering standards
