Core Group in Central London is seeking an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor to join a premier M&E contractor delivering major projects across Central London.

You will manage commercial aspects of M&E packages on high-value data centre, commercial, and life science schemes, typically £20m–£50m, and work with project teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. This role offers strong career progression and excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an M&E Quantity Surveyor within construction or M&E sector.
• Experience on major commercial/data centre/life science projects.
• Strong knowledge of valuations, variations, procurement, and final accounts.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial and financial aspects of M&E packages on major projects.
• Prepare, manage, review valuations, variations, applications and payments.
• Manage subcontractor accounts and ensure commercial performance.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, forecasts and cash flow.
• Review subcontractor packages and procurement strategies.
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and manage monthly commercial reports.
• Assess variations, change control and potential additional costs.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and site teams to meet deadlines.
• Assist with final accounts and project close-out.
• Maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers.
• Provide commercial support and guidance to project teams.
