Job summary

TSSI is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our growing M&E design and build contracting team. You will manage full commercial aspects of mechanical and electrical packages from pre-contract through final account, collaborating with project managers, design teams and suppliers.

The role requires strong knowledge of JCT/NEC contracts, tendering, cost control and subcontract negotiation. You will mentor assistants and contribute to process improvements while protecting margins

Qualifications

• Experience as a quantity surveyor on design and build M&E projects.
• Knowledge of JCT, NEC and subcontract forms.
• Proficient in estimating and cost management software.
• Strong negotiation, analytical and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tender estimates and cost plans for M&E packages.
• Review contracts and negotiate terms to protect position.
• Prepare CVRs, cash flow projections and cost forecasts.
• Assess and certify subcontractor valuations.
• Identify variations and submit change orders promptly.
• Build relationships with suppliers and manage procurement programs.
• Mentor assistants and contribute to commercial process improvement.
