Job summary

TSSI is seeking a Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial management of mechanical and electrical packages across live projects. You will work with project teams to protect margin while maintaining client relationships and delivering final accounts.

The role requires extensive experience in M&E contracting, JCT/NEC knowledge and strong cost management skills. You will mentor junior QS staff and contribute to continuous improvement of commercial processes.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a QS in mechanical and electrical contracting.
• Proven experience managing M&E packages from tender to final account on high-value projects.
• Strong knowledge of M&E systems and JCT/NEC forms.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review tender estimates, BOQs and cost plans for M&E packages.
• Review contracts and subcontracts, managing risk and change control.
• Prepare CVRs, forecasts, cash flow and interim valuations.
• Identify variations and negotiate final accounts with clients and subs.
• Build relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to optimise procurement.
• Supervise and mentor junior surveyors and support process improvements.
