Job summary

The Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor will assume commercial responsibility for a major commercial cut and carve scheme in London, with MEP works valued at around £20 million. The contract is 12-18 months, starting imminently, and you will report to the senior commercial manager and coordinate with site teams.

The ideal candidate will have extensive M&E QS experience on main contracting projects, a relevant engineering degree, and a track record on large-scale schemes.

Qualifications

• Experience in M&E quantity surveying on major projects.
• Experience on large cut and carve or commercial new build schemes.
• Degree in a relevant discipline (MEP).

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial aspects to ensure project profitability and cash flow.

Role:

They are currently seeking a Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor who will take on commercial responsibility for one of the more major commercial cut and carve schemes, with the MEP value at £20 million. This project is due to start imminently. Working closely with the senior commercial manager and site teams, you will ensure projects are delivered profitably whilst maintaining strong client relationships and managing the subcontractor.

The ideal candidate:

The ideal candidate would have extensive experience in M&E Quantity Surveying having degrees in the relevant discipline with main contracting experience. You will also have worked on a large cut and carve or commercial new build project. The contract is set to be 12-18 months.
