OCS UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced Mechanical Estimator to lead tendering for building-services projects. You will manage estimates from enquiry through to final tender submission and handover, covering heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing and associated plant.

You will work with Pre-Construction, Commercial and Design teams to ensure accurate, competitive estimates and strong value engineering. A UK driving licence and relevant mechanical qualification are required.

Qualifications

• Experience estimating mechanical-services projects of comparable scale and complexity.
• Strong understanding of mechanical building-services systems and costs.
• Ability to take-off quantities from drawings and specs.

Responsabilités

• Review tender enquiries and drawings to prepare detailed estimates.
• Calculate labour, materials, plant and subcontractor costs for tenders.
• Issue enquiries to suppliers and subcontractors and analyse quotations.
• Identify tender assumptions and record exclusions clearly.
• Prepare compliant tenders within deadlines and support post-tender clarifications.
