Job summary

Placements24 client, a luxury hotel, seeks a Senior Concierge to lead guest services with encyclopedic local knowledge and exceptional problem-solving. This role emphasizes remote-first work, enabling you to coordinate reservations, tours, and special requests from a flexible setup.

You will build a trusted network of local contacts, mentor junior staff, and ensure flawless service delivery across departments while upholding the hotel’s brand standards for discerning guests.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of Concierge experience in a luxury hotel
• Extensive knowledge of Randburg, Gauteng and wider region
• Proficient in concierge software and general office apps

Responsibilities

• Provide a world-class concierge service to hotel guests, anticipating needs and exceeding expectations.
• Manage and fulfill a wide range of guest requests, including dining reservations, theatre tickets, transportation, and travel arrangements.
• Develop and maintain an extensive network of local contacts and suppliers for exclusive recommendations and services.
• Offer personalized recommendations and insights into local attractions, activities, and cultural experiences.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and efficiently, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Coordinate with various hotel departments to ensure seamless service delivery for guests.
• Supervise and mentor junior concierge staff, providing guidance and training.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel services, local events, and city offerings.
• Manage the concierge desk operations efficiently, ensuring accuracy of information and prompt responses.
• Act as a brand ambassador for the hotel, reflecting its luxury and service standards at all times.
