Qualifications

• Proficient in concierge software and general office apps

Responsibilities

• Provide a world-class concierge service to hotel guests, anticipating needs and exceeding expectations.
• Manage and fulfill a wide range of guest requests, including dining reservations, theatre tickets, transportation, and travel arrangements.
• Develop and maintain an extensive network of local contacts and suppliers for exclusive recommendations and services.
• Offer personalized recommendations and insights into local attractions, activities, and cultural experiences.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and efficiently, ensuring guest satisfaction.

Our client, a luxury hotel renowned for its impeccable service in the heart of Randburg, Gauteng , is looking for an experienced and resourceful Senior Concierge to lead their guest services team. This role demands an individual with an encyclopedic knowledge of the local area, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a genuine passion for creating memorable experiences for discerning guests. As a Senior Concierge, you will be the go-to person for guest requests, from making reservations at exclusive restaurants and arranging unique local tours to fulfilling special personal requests. This is a remote-first position, allowing you to manage guest relations and coordinate services from an optimal remote setup, contributing to the hotel's reputation for excellence from wherever you are based.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of dining, entertainment, and attractions in and around Randburg, Gauteng and the wider region.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a polished and professional demeanor.
• Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage a high volume of requests in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a resourceful approach to fulfilling unique guest requests.
• Proficiency in concierge software and general office applications.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote-first work environment.
• Fluency in English is essential; additional languages are a significant advantage.
• A passion for service excellence and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Must be legally authorized to work in South Africa .
