Job summary

Citi's Equities Technology team in London is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Electronic-Execution (Electronic Trading) group and help build Citi's next-generation low-latency execution platform with components like Algorithmic Trading, SOR, Dark Pool and high-throughput market data processing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience delivering low-latency electronic trading platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Java and Rust, and a good understanding of C++ is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Core Development: Design, development and maintenance of high-performance, low-latency electronic execution systems
• Product Collaboration: Partner with traders, quants, and clients to translate needs into features.
• Testing: Improve testing frameworks, tools and environments for reliability and performance.
• AI-Powered SDLC: Leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, code quality and innovation.
• Agile & CI/CD: Promote agile practices and CI/CD with shift-left testing.
• Platform Support & Enhancement: Build common solutions for monitoring, reconciliation and recovery.
