Job description

Nyetimber is a pioneering luxury brand and multiple award-winning English sparkling wine producer. Our story is one of many firsts; we were the first to pioneer the now-established style of English sparkling wine; we were the first to grow the renowned grape varieties Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier in England exclusively for producing sparkling wine; and the estate where our vines were first planted was mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086 by its then Anglo-Saxon name, “Nyetimbraha”.

Quality is key to everything we do at Nyetimber, with a constant strive for perfection. We produce exceptional sparkling wine, and this excellence extends beyond our product to every touchpoint of the brand.

As our Senior London Account Manager, you will be responsible for establishing and growing distribution, driving new listings, and increasing brand awareness of The Lakes Distillery and Nyetimber within key accounts in the London On-Trade. You will also collaborate closely with our Trade Marketing Team to support the delivery of events and activations in key accounts.

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage and develop key high-profile accounts and groups, and acquire new prestigious on-trade accounts for The Nyetimber Group portfolio, focusing on The Lakes Distillery.
  2. Engage with relevant London distributor teams to maximize collaboration opportunities.
  3. Report regularly to the London Sales Team Lead on actions and achievements.
  4. Develop training and engagement programs for key accounts, including six-month compliance and sales reporting.
  5. Support Sales and Marketing teams with events and training initiatives.
  6. Host customer visits to The Lakes Distillery and the Nyetimber vineyard.
  7. Undertake any required trainings.
  8. Perform other duties as appropriate to the role.
Qualifications & Experience:
  1. Experience working with luxury drinks brands, including whiskey.
  2. London On-trade experience is essential.
  3. Good knowledge of London accounts and existing contacts.
  4. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  5. Strategic thinking with strong analytical skills.
  6. Ability to build strong relationships and manage high-profile accounts.
  7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  8. Dynamic, motivated team player.
  9. Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
  10. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is desirable.
  11. Wine-related qualification is desirable.
