Now, with a newly expanded portfolio of prestigious agency brands, we’re seeking an experienced, strategic, and wine-passionate National Account Manager to help us take our On-Trade national presence to the next level.

The Role

Based in the North of England, this is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in the premium On-Trade space. You’ll be responsible for driving sustainable, profitable growth across the UK’s National Account sector – focusing exclusively on multi-site businesses that value quality and wish to premiumise their wine offering.

You'll identify, win, and grow key accounts while acting as a company ambassador, ensuring our wines are activated to the highest standards and integrated seamlessly across clients' operations.

You’ll collaborate cross-functionally – with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and more – to bring our wines to life and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver profitable growth across the UK On-Trade National Accounts, in line with company objectives
  • Work with the Head of Sales (National On Trade) to realise the strategic growth of the channel you are responsible for
  • Win new premium multi-site accounts aligned with our agency brand strategy
  • Lead and manage commercial tenders with data-driven precision
  • Activate brands in collaboration with Marketing – creatively and commercially
  • Build lasting relationships with decision-makers across the National On-Trade sector
  • Act as a visible, respected presence in the marketplace and a key voice within the business
  • Champion our agency portfolio and ensure it is well-represented across all partner lists
  • Collaborate across internal departments to ensure operational and strategic alignment
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and bring consumer-led insights to the fore

About You

  • You are a confident communicator, a natural relationship-builder, and a commercial thinker with a passion for premium wines and the On-Trade industry.
  • Proven success in managing or winning large National On-Trade accounts
  • Established NAM experience within the alcohol drinks industry
  • Strong understanding of the premium On-Trade landscape
  • Experience with multi-site operations and agency brands
  • Excellent commercial acumen and strategic planning abilities
  • Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel & PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of supply chain, forecasting, and data analytics
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Full UK driving licence

Working Pattern

Monday to Friday 9am – 5.30pm. There will be evening (and potentially weekend) work when you will have to visit certain customers, potential customers and / or attend events, some of which will be nationwide.

Location

This is a field based position in the North of England.The post holder must be willing to travel in to our head office in London when requested.
