Job summary

Bullet Express is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of our warehouse and transport operation at the Bothwell site. You will lead the operational teams to deliver service levels, safety, and cost efficiency in a busy logistics environment.

You will need strong people management skills, decisive leadership and the ability to work closely with the Head of Operations and other departments to continually improve performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a busy, fast-paced transport or warehouse operation.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety and operational compliance.
• Experience with KPIs and service targets.
• Comfortable using TMS and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse and transport operations.
• Lead and develop operational teams and shift handovers.
• Plan staffing, vehicles and warehouse resources.
• Monitor KPIs and customer service levels.
• Ensure health & safety compliance across the operation.
• Control costs and manage overtime and agency usage.
• Collaborate with Head of Operations and other departments to improve performance.
