Job summary

Leeds City Council is seeking a Senior Localities Officer to drive the Love Leeds programme, turning community priorities into practical projects that strengthen partnerships and improve neighbourhoods.

You will work with elected members, residents and services to shape solutions, coordinate local engagement, and evaluate programme impact, delivering tangible benefits for communities across Leeds.

Qualifications

• Experience of developing and delivering projects, including capital projects, from concept through to implementation.
• Strong project management, planning and organisational skills.
• Experience of working effectively with diverse communities and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with a wide range of partners.
• Strong analytical and report-writing skills, including experience of working with financial information and performance data.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Love Leeds programme projects by turning local insight and priorities into actions.
• Coordinate engagement activities, support consultations and community meetings.
• Help ensure projects deliver lasting impact for local people through data-informed decisions.
