Job summary

Leeds City Council is seeking a Community Pride Project Support Officer to help deliver locality-driven projects within the Community Pride programme, working with elected members, partners and local residents. The role combines frontline community work with project development, evaluation, and reporting, requiring strong communication, analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Permanent contract, 37 hours per week, based at New Market House in Leeds, with flexible arrangements

Qualifications

• Experience delivering capital projects from development to implementation.
• Ability to work with elected members and local partners.
• Strong communication and report writing skills.
• Experience in community engagement or public sector work.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of the Community Pride programme.
• Coordinate and attend community meetings and consultations.
• Analyse data and prepare clear reports to inform planning and decision making.
• Develop relationships with management, staff and stakeholders.
• Organise stakeholder communications and events.
