Job summary

Salesforce Sites is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Linux & Cloud Automation) to own Linux patching, Azure VM management, and infrastructure‑as‑code deployments. You will operate across managed service environments, maintain backup policies, and lead automation through Ansible, Bicep/ARM templates, and Azure DevOps.

This is a hands‑on, on‑call role requiring strong Linux expertise, cloud tooling experience, and the ability to resolve incidents in a fast-paced MSP setting based in

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in enterprise infrastructure engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with Ansible — playbook development and execution for patching, configuration management, and compliance enforcement.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Azure — Linux VM management, Azure Update Manager, Azure Backup, and Azure networking.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly patching cycle for Linux servers and manage patch scheduling.
• Configure and manage Azure Update Manager policies for Linux estate.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure‑as‑code with Bicep/ARM templates.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines via Azure DevOps for infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
• Manage Azure backups and recovery services for Linux workloads.
• Handle on-call escalations and contribute to change management and CAB activities.
• Provide incident response guidance and collaborate with T1 and Infrastructure Lead.
